Getting Started
Initial Consultation
All EOD projects will begin with an Initial Design Consultation so we can learn more about you and your project.
During this consultation, we will:
Review your project wish list and discuss the scope of work involved
Discuss any existing floor plans, current architectural drawings or possibilities for new layouts
Go through the colour schemes and styles of hard and soft finishes such as flooring, millwork, furnishings, lighting, drapery, focal walls, etc.
Talk about the best layout for your furnishings and accessories
Determine a comfortable budget for the project if one has not already been decided
Provide an overview of EOD’s policies and procedures
The goal of this consultation is to gain a clear view of what your project will entail and if our team is the best fit to make your vision come to life. If you plan to move forward with us, we will formalize the arrangement by providing a Design Fee Proposal for your approval and begin the design process!
Making Plans
Research, Design and Presentation
Once we have the approval from you to move forward, the team at EOD will devote themselves to bringing your custom design dreams to life!
We will begin by implementing the ideas discussed and planning your design in full detail. We will then provide you with a presentation package that reflects your vision and the scope of work.
This package may include:
Floor plans
Design renderings
Architectural elements
Furniture arrangements and furniture selections
Samples for flooring, furniture, fabrics, drapery, and paint colours
Trade referrals (if applicable)
From there, we’ll discuss the details of your design package and confirm each of the individual elements.
Bringing it to Life
Project Management
Once we’ve confirmed the details of the presentation and associated recommendations, we will turn our energy towards managing all aspects of the project.
We believe a custom design doesn’t materialize without the perfect mix of talent, passion, experience and resources. From trades and contractors on site to our team in studio, we aim to create a streamlined experience that will keep your project on time and make the overall design project a success!
Project management will include:
Final sourcing of materials, ordering your furnishings and managing deliveries
Providing your contractor and their trades the information required to implement the design
Follow ups, site visits and installations as required
A reveal day once the project is complete
